Year 1 English & Maths

Welcome to our Year 1 English & Maths course!

We are delighted to welcome you to the course. Delivered by qualified teachers and built on a curriculum from leading educational experts, this programme is designed to secure your child’s foundations in Maths and English. Crucially, we also focus heavily on Phonics, ensuring your child is confident and fully prepared for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check.

Each week, your child will benefit from a dedicated 2-hour in-person session, supported by our online portal containing video tutorials and quizzes. To ensure you are fully involved in their learning journey, we provide weekly teacher feedback—offered both verbally at the end of the lesson and in writing.

Key Features:

• Assessments & Phonics Prep: We track progress through formal assessments and practice for the Phonics Screening Check. You will receive copies of these papers so you can see exactly how your child is developing.

• Welcome Pack: After the first session, your child will receive a full set of materials, including study guides, weekly booklets, exercise books, and a stationery set.

• Parent Guidance: You will receive a weekly Homework Information document to help manage tasks at home.
